WHO ARE WE?
The WASC is a state-wide organization of public, private, and parochial elementary, middle, junior and senior high school student councils and/or student leadership groups dedicated to the continuation and expansion of leadership development and student responsibilities in Wisconsin. Learn about our Core Values: Educate, Engage, and Empower.
OUR PARTNERS IN LEADERSHIP
The 2020 Impact2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. Virtual learning, hybrid schedules, and changing statewide mandates have put Wisconsin’s students among those most significantly impacted. But through it all the WASC has continued to focus on the needs of our K-12 learners and has found ways to further student leadership across the state.
Beginning back in April, we made WASC programming virtually accessible to students and advisors. Our student programming, student-and-adult governing board, and even student elections are all functioning virtually, and we are constantly updating our members with relevant resources for their schools, students, and communities. As we continue to monitor and adjust to the changes that COVID brings, we remain committed to finding ways to educate, engage, and empower student leaders across Wisconsin!
